Hi there, my name is Tim and I moved to Denton, Tx almost 2 years ago to attend The University of North Texas. And in the two years since i've lived here there have been these little moments and things that have made me love my time here and make Denton a great place. So I decided to post these little things whenever they happen and I get the time. First, I decided to start simple. Whenever I move to a new place I always want to find a good diner. One of those old school family/community places where people gather for coffee and breakfast and the waitresses look like something out of Alice. When I lived in Dallas that place was the Oasis on Greenville. Well that place in Denton is Ruby's Diner on the square. It has all the prerequisites: Good breakfast, community, and staff. And for poor college students it has a great one egg breakfast for $3.00, add coffee and you walk out owing only $5.03. Not bad. Plus depending on where you sit there's a great view of the historic court house. Well there it is reason #1 why i like Denton.
